HIV/AIDS Prevention Campaign and Awareness and Education Fair |

| Description: | Working in collaboration with the Municipal, Health Department and the Youth Leadership Council of Isla Mujeres, the non-profit organization Brazos Abiertos (based in Merida and Texas) will be hosting a HIV/AIDS Prevention and Education Fair next week in Isla.
Workshops will include peer to peer education, transmission and prevention education, condom use demonstration and general information about HIV and STDs. There will also be HIV testing available on site with pre- and post-counseling services offered.
The event is free, open to all and will take place on Wednesday, July 22 in the Main Square. Time yet to be announced. Please visit www.hivyucatan.org to learn more about their work in the Yucatan.
